The Position:

As a Senior Claims Assessor in the Retail Claims team, you can expect to be performing the following tasks:
  • Managing and assessing a  portfolio of Retail IP claims
  • Supervising and mentoring claims consultants
  • Manage technically complex claims
  • Reference point for technical or escalated claims;
  • General claims management tasks such as liaison with doctors, rehabilitation providers, legal professionals and advisers, and initiating claims investigations.

About You:

You must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • A minimum of 2+ years experience assessing Income Protection [IP] claims within Life Insurance;
  • Experience in Retail claims is highly regarded
  • Background in Allied Health or Rehabilitation
  • A flair for training, mentoring and coaching others
  • Strong technical capacity across both IP lines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
