 An insurer who provides contractors with specialist, purpose built insurance cover for their mobile plant and equipment and is renowned for having a top class claims service is seeking an Underwriter to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

• Underwrite profitable business within a delegated underwriting authority through trading with brokers.
• Contribute to new business growth objectives by pursuing profitable new business growth opportunities.
• Be an active contributor to the success of the Company by assisting in areas of development including strategic planning and policy and procedure.
• Ensure all service is provided in a fair and ethical manner and compliant with all relevant legislation, regulations, codes and Company policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain broker relationships.
