The Company
Our client is based in the Sydney CBD and is a well-known brand that operates across Australia and is massive in NSW. They are a major regulatory body and looking for someone to start immediately on a temporary basis to manage their payroll. 

The Role
As a Payroll Officer, your duties will include, but not be limited to 
  • Process payroll fortnightly for team members Australia wide
  • Timely and accurate processing of allocated payroll/s including the checking of critical payroll data.
  • Provide payroll customer service to customers both internally and externally
  • Maintain confidential employee records, filing, and archive systems are maintained to ensure legislative compliance and information integrity
  • Ensure all areas of payroll are processed in line with legislation and company policy

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Proven payroll experience in a high volume environment
  • Sage Micro Pay experience is essential 
  • Proven understanding of payroll tax legislation and an ability to interpret relevant awards and enterprise agreements
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment whilst balancing competing tasks
