With a busy warehouse and processing facility, they are seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant Floor & Operations Manager to keep things running seamlessly in their Coffs Harbour site.

The Role

Reporting to the Local Operations Manager, you will oversee daily warehouse and floor operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with Food Safety standards. You will drive productivity while maintaining a safe and positive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accurate and timely stock receival, ensuring purchase order details match
  • Direct and check morning load outs for complete order accuracy
  • Manage stock locations, replenishment, and picking/packing in chiller and freezer environments
  • Maintain compliance with Food Safety and HACCP requirements
  • Conduct regular inventory inspections, short-date reporting, stocktakes, and end-of-month tasks
  • Coordinate contractors, oversee site works, and maintain high hygiene standards
  • Manage and develop staff through rostering, performance reviews, and KPI setting
  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs
  • Promote a positive company culture and ensure a safe working environment for all staff
  • Provide relief cover for other roles when required
What You’ll Need
  • Strong warehouse operations experience, ideally in food processing or cold storage
  • Proven people leader,  maybe a Team leader looking for next step
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
  • HACCP qualification or willingness to obtain (company-funded)
  • Current Forklift Licence (required)
  • Tech-savvy
  • Highly organised with the ability to delegate and prioritise effectively
